Katie Mackenzie

LLB/BSc - Solicitor

Katie is originally from Wellington and completed her law degree and a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Biodiversity at Victoria University of Wellington before moving to Blenheim at the end of 2024. She was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in September 2025.

As a solicitor, Katie enjoys assisting her clients with property and estate planning matters and completes a wide range of private client work. She is a firm believer in providing clear advice and practical solutions.

Outside of work, Katie has coached a range of representative, development, and school hockey teams in Wellington, including as the assistant coach of the Wellington U18 Girls’ team in 2024. She is currently working towards a post-graduate qualification remotely through Auckland University of Technology. 

In her spare time Katie enjoys exploring in Marlborough’s fantastic climate, watching almost any sport, and slowly completing DIY projects around her house.
